    The foundation of 1+1 Cares is rooted in personal experiences. Co-founders Matt Mukoyama and Ray Liu, driven by their own family challenges and a shared commitment to community service, established the company in 2007. Their goal was clear: to provide the same level of care and support for other families as they desired for their own. This dedication to offering essential services was born out of deeply personal journeys involving health and lifestyle challenges within their own families, driving their desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

    Matt and Ray always wanted to have a larger impact on society; however, they felt that growing organically was not going to allow them to make the impact they wanted to make. Their franchise model facilitates providing more families with faster access to better care.

    What are Your Daily Responsibilities as a 1+1 Cares Franchise Owner?

    As a sales and relationship-driven senior services franchise opportunity, franchise owners in the 1+1 Cares system will focus primarily on lead generation and relationship-building activities, to help secure more and more clients in target areas where the need for quality care is greatest. In turn, franchisees receive a portion of the revenues collected from each client.

    From there, our franchisor organization does the heavy lifting, taking on the activities and responsibilities for fulfilling the caregiver-client match, managing client communications, and more.

    This is a great way to build a compelling business in a booming market, without having to deal with the typical overhead costs, staffing challenges, and other complexities of running a traditional senior care business!

    Your key tasks as you grow your senior services franchise will include:

    • Lead Generation and Relationship Management: You will respond to potential client inquiries received through the 1+1 Cares website. Additionally, you will develop networks with medical institutions such as hospitals, skilled nursing care facilities, and assisted living care facilities to obtain referrals.
    • Client and Referral Source Interaction: This involves creating and maintaining connections with various lead sources. Your role is to meet with clients and their families, finalize sales for caregiver services, and sustain ongoing referral relationships.
    • Driving Client Acquisition: Your main responsibility is to help families in need of care services and offer a set of tiered services to suit their needs and budgets. The 1+1 Cares franchisor team then handles all backend fulfillment, making this role primarily a sales and business-building opportunity. You can concentrate on making connections and referrals to help families requiring caregiver services.
